Common Cause Hawaii is a state chapter of the national Common Cause organization. Common Cause is a nonpartisan, grassroots organization dedicated to reinventing an open, honest and accountable government that serves the public interest and empowering ordinary people to make their voices heard in the political process.

We are a coalition of groups and politically active citizens coming together to create a watchdog and lobbying group for the state of Hawaii. We believe in supporting Jefferson's "wall of separation" between church and state. Our lawmakers should make decisions and policies based on logic, reason, and science, regardless of religious ideology.
